The Journey Behind Body • Spirit • Mind
My healing journey began in 2007 following a significant life transition that left me emotionally depleted, anxious, depressed, and deeply disconnected from my sense of self.
Determined to reclaim my life from the inside out, I began exercising several days each week. As I moved my body, long-suppressed emotions began to surface. Physical movement awakened emotional truth, leading me to psychotherapy, meditation, and deeper personal work.
Over time, I devoted myself to understanding attachment, trauma, emotional regulation, nervous-system health, family systems, personality development, and the profound connection between mind and body. I explored concepts such as the false self, validation, empathy, trauma responses, and the patterns that shape how we experience ourselves and our relationships.
Through volunteering and community involvement, I discovered a calling to help others navigate their own healing journeys and pursued a career in Social Work.
By 2017, I had experienced deep integration. Movement, meditation, emotional processing, spiritual exploration, healthy boundaries, nutrition, restorative habits, and meaningful connection helped rebuild my life piece by piece. My identity strengthened, my voice returned, my nervous system settled, and my purpose became clear.
What restored my own life became the foundation of Body • Spirit • Mind. The framework emerged from the understanding that lasting healing requires caring for the whole person — body, spirit, and mind working together in harmony.
The Body • Spirit • Mind Framework
Developed through the founder's own healing journey, the Body • Spirit • Mind framework integrates body-based awareness, spiritual connection, and therapeutic insight to support lasting healing and personal transformation.
Body
Movement, breathwork, somatic grounding, and nervous-system awareness.
Spirit
Meditation, inner-child connection, intuitive wisdom, and meaning-making.
Mind
Psychotherapy, trauma processing, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
Trusting Konnections
Before meaningful transformation can occur, people need safety. They need trust, authenticity, consistency, and dependable support.
Through my own healing journey, I came to understand that Body • Spirit • Mind transformation cannot fully occur without a secure foundation of human connection. Healing requires relationships where people feel seen, heard, valued, and emotionally safe.
This belief led to the creation of Trusting Konnections in 2021 — a therapeutic space intentionally designed to foster trust, connection, and belonging as the gateway to deeper healing.
Today, Trusting Konnections and Body • Spirit • Mind work together to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care that helps clients reconnect with themselves, release old patterns, strengthen resilience, and cultivate lives rooted in purpose and authenticity.
